It's a good and little-used example from Buffet's "Golden Era". However, it's far more rare than the soprano clarinet and is mainly limited to folk music of the Aegean Region. Suitable for contest, concert or church performance, these pieces appear on several state contest lists. The result was sensational: It was heard in orchestras very soon. She is also the only smart tuba player in the section. Also she is usually asked by non-band members that see her carrying a sousaphone if "she is holding that for a friend." So, I waited for one of the two repair shop employees to wave me past. While I waited, I overheard one of them explaining to another customer the best repair technique to use for his trumpet and why the option the customer wanted wouldn't work. I was impressed enough with how well he explained it, that I may keep Marsh in mind for an upcoming repair. Even though it has been adopted recently in Albanian folklore (around the 18th century), the clarinet, or gërneta as it is called, is one of the most important instruments in Albania, especially in the central and southern areas.
