Temperatur des Druckgefäßes, der Abschir­ mung. In Leistungsreaktoren kommen noch konventionelle Kessel- und Tur­ binenmessungen dazu. Für bestimmte überwachungsaufgaben werden industrielle Fernsehanlagen eingesetzt. Mit Ausnahme einfachster Versuchsanlagen werden die Anzeige- und Schreibgeräte für die genannten Betriebsgrößen eines Reaktors in der Schaltwarte zusammengezogen. Die zentralisierte Betriebsüberwachung ist ein Kennzeichen aller Kernkraftwerke, sie wird erforderlich durch die große Anzahl von Meßgeräten und die Kompliziertheit von In­ strumentierung und Steuerung. Manchmal ist es jedoch unwirtschaftlich und überflüssig, alle Informationen in die Schaltwarte zu geben. Dann werden einige Geräte in lokalen Leitständen untergebracht. Zum Beispiel werden im Kernkraftwerk Berkeley Umwälzgebläse und Wärmetauscher von Leitständen in der Nähe der Umwälzgebläse geregelt; nur die wichtigeren Betriebsgrößen werden in die zentrale Schaltwarte weiter­ gegeben.
