Managing behaviour Managing behaviour in science is no different than in any other area of the curriculum. One of the fallacies about science and, in particular, practical work, is that children will misbehave when they engage in hands-on, practical activities. The reality is that if the practical activities are well structured and within the capability of the children, they are less likely to display inappropriate behaviour.
