The overall fit was good and required little work to mate them up properly. Modelkasten SK-18 workable tracks were used in the construction of the model. They can be a little tedious to put together so I like to spread the work out over several evenings. To prepare the model for painting, cotton swab sticks and alligator clips were used to hold the individual parts. This allows a great degree of flexibility to ensure complete paint coverage is achieved. I use a simple and inexpensive Badger Model 350 single-action airbrush and a Paasche D500 air compressor for all my painting, making sure I thoroughly clean it after each use.

The antenna deflector and rain gutters above the turret side hatches are extremely delicate and need to be handled carefully to prevent damage. I improved the detail on the pistol port lever and vision block on the left-side turret access hatch and modified the latches by undercutting the handles. -diameter styrene rod. Lock hasps, the same as those on the radio operator’s and driver’s hatches, were added. The forward hatch stops are nicely detailed but need to be moved up as they are too low and don’t engage the open hatch on the left side of the turret.
